Nora Scoonover is 35, divorced, in debt and going nowhere when her 16 year-old son, Steven, runs away from camp and asks to spend the summer with her. Together they decide that she will enter the Ironman Triathlon competition in Hawaii, although she has not done any running since high school. The experience brings them together.

1959, support from US troops based in Asia and later from the Sates enables two actresses to start a charity for mixed-race 'orphans' who are locally neglected as outcasts. Thus originates Childhelp, which later runs multi-disciplinary centers for abused and/or neglected children in the States. Among them is bright Jacob Fletcher, whose stepfather, a lawyer, terrorized him into utter trauma and reclaims him shortly after 10 months in jail. Jacob's peers have distressing stories of their own, but competent, devoted staff helps most of them decisively on the former farm, using animal therapy.

'Love That For Me' is an hour long Edinburgh Fringe show I performed in 2023. 　　It's about a bit of a mental year I had after a big break up. I loved doing this show, it sold out at the Fringe and the Glasgow Comedy Festival and I got to do it at Soho Theatre which was cool. It got good reviews, with WeeReview calling it "an hour of non-stop gags" and the Sunday Post calling it "an hour of near non-stop laughs" which is only slightly less good. 　　This filmed version was recorded on a kinda cold-ass Tuesday night at Monkey Barrel. I kinda wish I'd been able to have another go at it for a few reasons but alas this is it now existing forever, warts 'n all. I was planning on sitting on it to be honest but Marc (very kindly) bullied me into sharing it, so here it is. 　　It was filmed by Conor Reilly and edited by Stu Dougan, two good men you can set your watch to. Former wife of Chow Yun Fat, Candice Yu On-on stars in this gauzy softcore flick directed by Chor Yuen. Chun (Yu) is a high-class society woman who secretly dabbles in every sort of vice, from arranging murder to kidnapping young girls to serve as sex slaves for her brothel. One such lass is the beautiful Ai-nu, who manages to fight her way out of getting gang raped by Chun's minion. When she is recaptured, she promptly kills one of her first customers. Ai-nu's spunk intrigues Chun, prompting her to not only cover up the lass' crime but also seduce her as well. Detective Ling Yun (Alex Man Chi-leung) soon suspects something is amiss and begins investigating Chun's brothel over the objections of his superiors.
